The Gryphon 4200 series represents the premium range of 1D hand held scanners from Datalogic for general purpose applications. Designed to provide the best-in-class reading performance, the Gryphon 4200 readers’ ability to capture bar codes from near to far, to read both high-density and low resolution codes, to decode hard-to-read, poorly printed or damaged codes and to easily read bar codes from mobile devices simplifies all applications.

Ideal for hand held reading, the Gryphon 4200 utilizes Datalogic’s Motionix™ motion-sensing technology which detects the natural actions of the operator to automatically switch the scanner into the ‘ready-to-read’ scanning mode. Datalogic’s distinctive ‘soft line viewfinder’ helps the operator to easily target the code to be read, making it easier and faster to point, shoot and decode the proper label, reducing accidental reads in a multiple bar code situation.

Know what your service includes.

Managed care: Foundation $438.90/month (up to 5 users and 10 computers; 1 technician hour), Shield $823.90 (10 users and 20 computers; 2 hours), Command $1,428.90 (20 users and 40 computers; 3 hours). All include GST and cover one site and one existing tenant. Licences and onboarding are separate. Prepaid support hours: Prepaid support hours must be used within 12 months from the invoice date. Any unused hours expire at the end of that period. Each new block has its own invoice date and expiry; topping up does not extend an earlier block. Current blocks and prices ↗

Prices, extras and booking — for home, business, education and trade

Standard packages are exempt from custom-work minimums. Custom remote work has a $250 minimum quoted engagement; custom on-site work has a $399 minimum, including GST. These are minimum totals, not surcharges. Monthly plan fees are unaffected.

Starting prices cover the listed labour and agreed quantity. We confirm compatibility, access, scope, availability and the GST-inclusive total before booking. Hardware, subscriptions, cabling, materials, migration, travel, parking and after-hours work are separate unless expressly included. We support customers across Australia. Remote services are available nationally; on-site availability and travel costs are confirmed for your postcode.

One-off endpoint or MDM setup does not include ongoing monitoring, incident response or vendor subscriptions. Monthly care has agreed device/user counts, included support, service windows and response targets. Education eligibility and procurement requirements are assessed separately. Extra work needs your approval before we proceed.
